Busy Friday

Today was quite the busy day. Sadly, daddy had to go back to work. Luckily he'll only have to work for a few more days before having another week off. Gotta love the flexible schedule he has! Thankfully grandma came over last night to help with the nightly feedings and will be with us until tomorrow. Tomorrow Aunt Nicole will be coming over to help out and visit with the boys too.

Today's happenings:

• We tackled our first outing at Babies R Us. We got some extra feeding supplies and other little things that will make life a little easier in the coming weeks.
• Since we were heading out, we just HAD to dress them in a cute little outfit. Onesies and jeans from Val, Erin, and Ann and the cutest little booties from Kim.

• They cooperated the entire time we were gone. They slept from the minute we left the driveway all the way until we got back home and ate lunch. What troopers!
• We had another surprise delivery -- this time from Kelly. She sent the CUTEST little personalized blankets that were accompanied by a matching little monkey. It doesn't get any cuter than this! Thanks again Kelly!!

• Grandma made us an excellent enchilada dinner -- with guacamole, chips and salsa to go with it. YUM-MY!
• I swear that they've already had their first smile. I'm sure its just one of their random silly facial expressions, but it was definitely a very cute, gummy smile. Both of them "smiled" right after being fed, during their little cuddling session. Too cute, regardless of whether it was an official smile or not. Another cute moment was when Troy was blowing into Ellis' neck and it totally sounded like Ellis laughed. So funny to hear all the sounds they make (except their screaming when they are being changed, of course!)
• Now, the boys are sleeping and its time to enjoy some coconut cream pie. Good night!
